SEASON'S GREETINGS FROM CAVALIER STUDIO

As 2009 comes to an end, we reflect on a few highlights throughout the year.

We are very excited about our new partnership with "Muddy Paws" in Alpena. We held several pet portrait days at "Muddy Paws"; beginning in the Spring, again in Summer, and ending with holiday pet portraits on Thanksgiving weekend.
Michelle and Herb have been wonderful to work with. Allowing us into their grooming shop and boutique; rearranging merchandise racks for the day, so we can set up for portraits.
We'll soon be thinking about when to schedule our next photo day at Muddy Paws.

In May 2009, we relocated from a home studio to our current location inside Oscoda Carpet & Furniture. At our new location, we continue to work along side "Holistic Pampered Pets", on a daily basis, and during special events, such as, Oscoda's annual "Spring Walk" in May, and the "Holiday Stroll" in November. Santa is always present during the holiday stroll for pictures with pets and kids.
New this year, was our canine Howl-o-ween costume party. It was a big hit! We had many pawty animals in costume, from a bumble bee to a pimp in a purple hat. You'll not want to miss this Howl-o-ween bash next year.
Thank you Ken and Linda! You've been tremendous help in opening our new studio. We are grateful for your continued friendship and support.

Cavalier Studio was also happy to work with Lake Huron Sportfishing, LLC. This was our first year donating photography time to this organization at two of their annual events. The Handicap Fishing Tournament at Cedarbrook Trout Farm in Harrisville, and the Ladies' Classic and Men's Tournament at Main Pier in Oscoda. They are both great events we were happy to be a part of.

Also new to our event list this year was our booth at Oscoda's "Art on the Beach". The setting was perfect. We had great weather, and made many new "local" friends at this event. We'll most likely return again in 2010 for this June event.

In the Fall we added senior portraits to our services and products. It was quite touching to photograph these 2010 seniors. You could feel their enthusiasm about transitioning from high school into college, and beyond. "Oh the places you'll go!" Congratulations and best wishes to these talented young adults!

To our loyal Cavalier canine pack members, Thank you! We appreciate your support at our canine events and walking with us in Oscoda's 4th of July parade, and the Northern Lights parade. We actually had a float for both parades this year!, thanks to our creative son-in-law. We hope you'll join us again next year, and please tell your other dog-lovin' friends about our canine events. We hope to see our pack grow in 2010!

"Thank you", to all our customers and friends for their support throughout 2009.

We met many nice people, families and pets this past year. We hope you'll continue to stay in touch with us in the New Year.

We're already thinking about new events and products for 2010. We encourage you to subscribe to our blog, so you stay updated on all the latest happenings at Cavalier Studio.

Wishing you all the best in 2010!
