DAY 1: DOGS 101
Tuesday, August 3
5:30pm - 6:30pm
Come talk with Vet Tech & Dog Trainer, Andrea Hoh.
Andrea will speak on the important issues regarding your pet's health, and answer your questions on basic dog obedience.
DAY 2: GROOMER'S DAY
Wednesday, August 4
11am - 2pm
Come meet Cathy from "Zoom n Groom" Dog Grooming
Cathy will be here to demonstrate the proper combing & brushing of your pet. Learn which tools work best for your pet's coat. She will also be offering FREE nail trimming during this event, so stop in to get your pet's nails clipped.
DAY 3: NUTRITION DAY
Thursday, August 5
10am - 5pm
What's in your pet's food?
Some of your pet's health issues could be due to their diet. We will show you how to read a pet food label, so you can make the best food choice for your pet. It's just as important for our pets to eat a healthy diet as it is for us.
DAY 4: PET PORTRAIT DAY
Friday, August 6
12noon - 3pm
Calling All Pets!!
Put on your pet's best collar or cutest outfit for pet picture day!
Cavalier Studio will be offering FREE pet portrait sittings for this event. Don't miss this opportunity to have a professional portrait of your pet. No appointment needed.
DAY 5: ADOPTION DAY & ICE CREAM SOCIAL
Saturday, August 7
10am - 2pm
Alcona Humane Society will be here for Adoption Day.
Come in to find your new "best friend". Holistic Pampered Pets & Fromm will give a FREE 5 lb. bag of pet food with each adopted pet.
12noon - 3pm
Bring in your canine companion for our first annual ice cream social. There will be ice cream for the doggies and cupcakes for their humans.
Come join the fun! Hope to see you there!
First 20 people to arrive for each day's event will receive a FREE bag of Fromm pet treats.
